Sold the Hilus SFA
And got a Prado

hi guys

yeah sad to see my SFA go ,but with old age comes a lot of aches and pains .1997 model 175000 km on clock
very comfy and much quieter than the bakkie ,its has OME suspension fitted

I am looking for a owners manual ,vehicle did not have any books ,tried to steal Eric,s last week but he was watching me like a hawk

I replied to this last night but Whoosh!! - the reply vanished.

Martin, when you bring my rims I will let you take a peek at the manual... :cooldude:

Please remember to check the VIN number to see if it falls under the recall TSA has to replace the drive shafts (free of charge).

I went yesterday to check if that Vigo fitted with every accessory under the sun was still available, had the sudden urge to trade Hound Dog in on it but it had been sold the day before (Wednesday) to some lucky sod in East London. Win some, lose some, dunno why I did not think of doing so earlier.

P s did about 350k yesterday in traffic ,bit bumpy so last night looked at tyre pressures,sitting at 2.8 bar
to much i think ,went down to 2 in
front and 2.2 rear will monitor the ride
love the growl from the engine :D:

Congrats, makes an awesome overland vehicle, we pack ours to the hilt.
just glad I kept my SFA, don't like slow rolling and pitching of an IFS, but like the SFA it pretty much can go anywhere.

Tks will also load kitchen sink to take with ,did not want to sell SFA ,but was not an option to keep her
maybe later buy myself a singe cab version

Jy gaan agterkom jy moet baie mooier pak en beplan as met n d/c. Dan moet seker maak die goed stamp nie teen mekaar nie anders gaan die geraas jou mal maak op a slegte pad. As dit agter in die bak van n bakkie is hoor jy dit nie. Maar die goed bly skoner in n suv. Maar ek is seker jy gaan die projek geniet.
