How to turn the "T BELT" Service light off on 1998 95 Series Pradog

When 300,000 clicks turned over on the prado the "T BELT" service light came on the dask permanently. It had a new cam belt 5000 kms ago so there's no worries there.
I tried the technique I saw posted on the community forum but only seems to work on 120 Prado's with digital odo displays.
Does anyone know how to reset the service light please?
