Happy new Prado owner - I cleaned my leather seats!

Post by DanabaaiDaan »

They look good, Daan! PraDog has grey seats so they don't show dirt & grime but I will take a closer look later and see if they need cleaning as well.

I initially thought the seats were a much darker colour leather than the leather inlays on the door panels as these were a nice light tan/beige colour BUT, now it all looks the same after the cleaning process ! And the leather is nice and soft after the treatment I gave it! (also used a tub of special "cream" our local leather repair guy gave me for my old leather jacket - unfortunately the contents of this mix is his secret!) Really looks almost as good as new save for a few "plooie" which is part of the ageing process (as for humans as well !!)

Looks about the same as some new expensive seats on certain German vehicles I would not like to own!
