Nou ja - daar is hy !! After hopping around on the internet and listening to advice/input, I finally took the plunge into financial obscurity!!

Got the shocks fitted by the local Supaquick in Mosselbaai - Monroe 4x4 Adventurer shocks with a 3yr guarantee (but extended to lifetime guarantee by paying R50 per shock xtra!!) . They couldn't believe when they took out the original Prado shocks with 403 000 kms on the and not even leaking oil yet !! But ja - hulle was murtu!! If I drove over a R2 coin I would be able to tell you if it was heads or tails !!

Then today got the GT Radial 265/75/16 Adventuro MT's from Tyres & More in George (great bunch of guys!) who also alerted me to wear on tear on the steering rack ends - they sommer replaced them as well, and then completed the "gratis" wheel alignment ! En ja - hulle sing mooi soos n swerm "angry" bye, soos n MT moet !!

With the new shocks and muds the Prado gained an average lift of +- 20mm! (although this was never really the intention - ek sukkel klaar genoeg om in te klim soos dit is !)
