He guys, I'm posting this to the forum before I place it on gumtree.

Unfortunately I am looking to sell my 1985 Toyota Hilux

Ford 3L V6 conversion done in same year of purchase by JT conversions Pretoria

The mileage is real. 123430 Kms
New OME shocks and steering dampener
Rubberised bak
The engine is solid and running great.
I have had electronic distribution installed, the carburettor and radiator serviced and checked. New alternator and battery.
Front hubs serviced
Brakes serviced
Bench seat cover
Tonneau cover
Rear recovery points made up by 4x4Maniacs
Alarm and tracker installed
I also have the steel canopy, bull bar and towbar from when I bought it (see last pic)

I purchased it from the original owner in Pretoria, he used it to tow his caravan.

Hilux is fully licensed. I use it as my day to day. All original paperwork available

If you know anyone who might be interested in this classic let me know and we can communicate directly.

The asking price is R 97 500

A beaut for sure. I think it's a 1988 model .... someone may have misread the 8 as a 5 with the paperwork somewhere along the line.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Hey Ismail, ja for shortboards and locking away camping gear/wetsuits... it's quite solid so you can load what ever else (furniture fridges etc) on top if you needed to.
Right side opens up completely incase you need to put a motorbike on the bike...Image

Ps. Yes Arniston, love that place
