ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO MENTION: Many of the older forum members will vouch if I were to say that Kaspaas has a legacy and pedigree. Probably the most capable 4x4 that I've ever owned by far. I'm a very sentimental person so I fear the day I have to see someone else driving Kassie out my driveway. A real head turner. Ive seen many conversions, and I have heard many horror stories. I can honestly say that this 7MGE with the original EMS is the most reliable. I've tried my outmost best by sacrificing performance in exchange of reliability. A lot of time was spent getting every thing right for my end vision. I am cutting out a piece of my heart here......

HONESTY SECTION: Look, the lad has a few things here and there. Few rust spots on the front right pillar. But the chassis and cab is in good condition for the vehicles age. All the gaps and lines are straight, but here and there you can see a small spot that the previous colour was red.

ASKING PRICE: 85 000

I will include more pictures during the week.

PS : I'm having trouble with Photobucket, I will upload more photos during the week.

Well Mark,

I commute by motorbike every day, roughly 90 km to work and back.
When I lived in the Northern Cape the rain and bad weather was not a problem.

Down here its a different story....
I need a second Car that's the main reason.
Secondly I have two young boys, their baby seats do not fit though the rear doors of Kaspaas.
Lastly, my challenge days with heavy 4x4'ing are on hold for the next few years.
I'm in the "camp and tour with the family" league now.
Oh , before I forget - You CANNOT park an SFA just anywhere you please. They have a tendency to evaporate before your eyes!

All in all - Kaspaas is a dune eating machine, build for very rough terrain and obviously comfort, long distance goes out the window....

An understandably sad moment for you for to see your BABY go and hopefully to a good home.
Strange how time forces changes in your lifestyle.Your hobbies and passions stay the same but you simply alter your vehicles and comforts to suit your current situation and needs.

I also loved to drive the rough trails and lesser traveled parts of my area, which I explored whilst my sons were small, and of course,I was younger.I also have recently adapted my mode of transport to still see our lovely outback country with a few more modern creature comforts.

Happy travels and good luck.

FG,

You know, I had to send my 4year old to go and play with one of his friends the day Kaspaas was collected.
On Friday I tried to prep the little guy for when the "unknown oom " comes and drives of with the vehicle that was part of our lives for so long.

He loved working on Kaspaas, lying on my tummy when I'm wheeling on my creeper trolley underneath the Monster truck.
It was a tuff day for me and my eldest.

As you mentioned, Kaspaas's new owner is a great guy and I'm sure he will do the necessary and keep Kassie going.

Adios amigo!
