And this is the part where we moan. If somebody rendered real bad service, weewee'd you off, caused you damage or cheated you (vehicle related), please please let us know by posting it here.

You are not the only one,friend of ours bought a PVR from game,a week later it gave problems,took it in to DSTV,they then told him that it was a second hand unit.He then took it back to game.Well to cut the story sort he ended up about 3 weeks later at the head office with the unit still not replaced.Only after a few nasty letters and some threats,did he finally get it replaced.Still up to today has he not heard how they ended up selling him asecond hand unit for the price of a new one. :thumbdown: But us as south africans don't put up enough fuss when we get bad service."Customer is king"is what i was taught,but some how that has just fallen away...........

I paid my tv license at Game in Vincent, East London, SABC says they never received anything from them????? :evil:

The South African consumer is for most parts a walkover. We will for instance tolerate the fact that at some stores we are all considered to be thieves. We have to proof our innocence everytime we leave the store. This is also a Massmart trick which it employs to actually control the tills. But we take this as normal practise.

We also accept pricing as a fact. This is especially true at the what-you-forget shops at the filling stations. We pay those inflated prices without blinking. This is going to be the same for the new and upcoming toll roads. We will accept it and pay for it.

The same can be said folr the cell phone companies we have. Competition is only good when the consumer demands it.
