Bought a little Yaris at Citroen West Rand for CupCake to run around, has 62k km's on the clock, very happy with the buy.

What peeved me off was today we got stopped by Metro Police, the last digit on the expiry day is tempered with, on comraring the temporary paper license it was found to have expired 20th June, as opposed to what is stated, 31st July 2014. This happened around 18:00.

Will go to them tomorrow :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

You two are out of line :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: , I never wanna look at myself as a selebrity, lest I forget where I come from.

Was too exhaused this morning when I knocked off didn't feel like a fight. I just need a license plate without any drama now. Was just shocked and disappointed.

Warning, he battled to get through to their office via radio, and when he did eventually got through a good 10 minutes had gone, and time wasn't on his side, they knock off at 6 and it was about 17:55 when they stopped us.

1) okay so you need to supply all your documents back to the ice age to be able to get finance on your vehicle, so the stealers have your documents way before vehicle delivery date.
2) they have a special que at registration called bulk registrations.
3) they employ some to just do registrations
4) license plate take a whole 30 minutes to make
5) Car wash can easily be done while waiting for the number plates

so in conclusion why the h3ll can they not deliver a vehicle with the correct plates and registration papers. there is actually no need to ever issue a vehicle with temporary plates if the dealers sorry stealers - get the donkeys (sorry donkey) in gear and do there jobs properly.

Oh gosh! All this started with tempered car license plates? :shock2: :slap:
Careful we don't become like the other side, 4x4 community, where you ask a question about tyre brands, ten pages later people are commenting about oil brands and viscosity, or the angle of cv joints after a suspension upgrade :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
