Rite1's 1st Love!!!

Post by Rite1 »

Hello Fellow TOYOMEN

Glad to see a Hilux Forum. I grew into 4x4's when my late dad bought a hilux 2.2 4x4 in 1986. At the time i vowed to own one, one day. That came true for me in 2005.

I am not into competitions but rather enjoy 4x4ing the eastern cape. I did try the competition thing in the begining but found that its just not for me.

I was unable to post the pictures so i asked Pieter if he could help me out and post them for me. Thanks Pieter!!!

Happy 4x4ing!!!

Hi there Andries.

I have been to Mtentu , Mpande, Mkambathi, etc

It does not seem like much 4x4ing but when it rains on the eastern cape its another story.

I would really like to drive the Wild Coast Eco Trail, as on the T4Africa Maps. Seems Like an awesome drive.

Have you driven that trail?

hi!

We went to the Wild Coast 9 years ago without a 4x4. It is beuatiful down there, will go back but with a 4x4 this time. We went to Rhodes and Tiffendale 3 times. We took the sement road up to Tiffendale and the Wartrail back to Barkley. We still want to go to Naudesnek down to Maclear. Heavy 4x4 terrain. We also did Joubert's Pass throuhg Lady Grey. It is something to see. I shall sent you photo's of the Wild Coast as soon as i can figure out how to do that.
