viewtopic.php?f=94&t=6568" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

viewtopic.php?f=94&t=4443&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I had 50mm spacers(120mm lift) on the tjm coils to get extra height so i could fit the 33s on,but it created a much to big angle on the a-arm. It also broke the cv boot immediately, so i replaced the boots and drove it for a while to feel how it would drive? I came to the conclusion that i was messing with the reliablity of the cv to much, so i took out 20mm off the spacers. Then i started getting serious tyre rub. I then got in contact with allan venter and he suggested a body lift to get those 33s to work. He suggested 75mm lift so if i wanted to i could take some more out from the suspension to put even less strain on the cv, at the mo im still getting used to the lift, and havent decided what to do next. The xjs suspension coils that i put on were the heavy duty ones so the ride is a bit harder, the downward travel is fine as well. So my suggestion to anyone who wants to stick 33s on is to do a body lift first, then rest. Thanks does that answer that uys . David de Wet

David.

My normale spoed is 120/130 so vierderat is my voorland.

Eerstens - David, jou trok lyk uitstekend!

Sjoe wonder wat sal so projek se kostes beloop.
