Andy, its a 4Y which i thought was gonna be lazy but it is surprisingly strong and not too bad on consumption.
Jaco, it is a 4x4 but i dropped the suspension so i could fit in better with you Vuildriehoek guys :cooldude:

I still think the 4Y is an awesome motor ....... just a little slow in the SFA's, but otherwise pretty impressive for a 2.2lit.
Looking forward to pics of the 'transformation' that the latest additions have brought about. ;-)

I considered a couple of other vehicle's seats, but am glad I chose otherwise. I could have gotten plenty sets for cheaper, but then I still had to modify. These seats are like brand new now, and even with the choice of genuine leather available, I chose the vinyl option 'cause I ultimately want Melvill & Moon seatcovers for it. It had fabric seats for about 19 years now, so I guess this will last me another good couple of years.

I also still have my origional seats but I think If I go leather one day I might just change to a seat that has more lateral support I dont want to be sliding all over the place with slippery leather. Maybe a nice set of recaros from a GTi or something. I always think very carefully about replacing original stuff so I would do some serious shopping around first to find just the right seats.

Did they give you a price for the leather option by any chance?
