My Hilux- aka Ujuba (Swahili for "Fearless"

Post by rinkhals68 »

This Hilux earned its stripes (Or is it logo) on our recent trip through Southern & Eastern Africa.

After bundu bashing through the dense bush around the Petauki area in the Luangwa province Zambia, crossing the Luagwa river at night and creating a road where there was none (although Tracks for Africa told me otherwise).... taking 7 long hours to cover 40km ..the Hilux was fearless....ready to take on whatever nature was throwing at it....At two the next morning the Hilux pulled into Crocodile Camp with nothing more than a couple of scratches to show for the hell it has been through.... it was absolutely "Ujaba" (and yes the Hilux is also Ayoba!!!!)

Taunting is simply not allowed on this forum. And a picture of a parked Hilux is hardly an introduction.I think a trip report combined with some pics will cement your place here on the forum. Come on you're killing us here ;-)
