It works well with a Kz gearbox. My first v8 I did myself (into a IFS hilux) but this one was done in Nelspruit. I did not have time to do Buffel and I refused to drive a 22R  Got used to the v8 8)

Thanx all of you, must say I like my Lux aswell :D

Luke, Kz I got for R 8500 and adaptor plate I bought for R 2500 I think. Ratios is 4.875:1. Nice for me, I don't do LONG hauls with it and I ran on 5.29 aswell, but that is a bit to high. Think for long hauls, stick to 4:55's. I use my Lux closeby and if I go far, I load it on a trailer behind my GX105. ( Usually the family goes with) Would like a d/cab 8)

CMB, I loose too much aproach angle withthat replacement bumpers .
Scorpion, v8 is 8) . A bit nippy in the quarry, but nice. The guy who did it, knows what he is doing yeah, but I had a little disagreement with him afterwards. He won't see me again. He SOLD my stock box without telling me and after 3 months the box apparantly broke. HE expected me to help him with the guarantee he gave the client. How can he expect that?
Front I have 4" procomp with LOOONG schackles and cruiser schocks and rear I have ome with blocks and the longest ome schock available

All these conversion shops promise 8km/l, even 10. Bullsh!t ! . My first v8 was back for tuning 3 times and nothing better. I get 6 on open road and 4 in town and this is my second v8. I have microtech EMS and manual box. Can anyone do tuning to get 8km/l ?? Or is it only my van that's so heavy??

Cool! See the Cruiser axle and control arms, but would be nice in a slightly bigger size (800 x 600) for more detail. Did you make up your own track-bar? and do you find that it limits articulation on the one side (LHS in your case)?

All spares used is from Toyota vehicles, control arms and axles is Cruiser 80, steering box is cruiser 60series. years ago there was black rubber type strips to be fitted on the wheel arches, does anyone know if it is still available somewhere?
i will probably fit the steering shock today

Looking very neat! Maybe it's just my eyes or just the angle of the pics, but I don't see an upper control arm / stabiliser ... what stops the axle from wrapping?

control arms works exactly the same as on a Land Cruiser.. only the rear axle has upper arms, the front has 2 mounts on the axle to the control arms
