@Kaspaas: yes its fully remote control:The chassis is a Tamiya cro1: crawler chassis:the body is all by tamiya, but its the old hilux(round headlights in front) converted into square shape like mine:and runs on nimh or lipo battery cells;play time +/- 30minutes in your garden:makeshift trail only rocks etc.hench a crawler.

Tamiya offer this one http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.p ... t-id=58397 but at close on R6000 excluding postage it is a little steep.

Or you can get it from the UK http://www.goldstarstockists.com/playti ... ffroad.htm. Scroll down till you get to the ford F350, you will see the Hilux and the Tundra. But also at +-R6000 excluding postage.

Of course Deon, yours is really the one we all want. The one to match what we have. It looks great.
Did you import or buy locally and what did it cost? Are all the bits and pieces eg roof rack, axe etc hand made or stolen from the laaties toys?

O.K cool ill bring it with on saturday :and yes the body is a single cab lexan body.had to buy two bodies to make the double cab.The roofrack ,highlift jack etc. and the body u can get at your local hobby shop.(not Toy's R us etc.) hobby shops only.the body does not come with the cro1 (only the landcruiser 40 series.)the older hilux comes with the hiilift chassis ,but this chassis is a trailer (as in driving in sand not on rocks )not a crawler.

Coool Bru

just one request - stay with the original motor don't be tempted to cram something in there that "don't sit and fit lekker", might overheat andset fire to the Curtains or worst still : drip oil on SWAMBO's favourite Carpet

They are big fun I have got the F350  just after i bought it they launched the hilux and to convert the ford to hilux is in the range of R950 for the body. They are very realistic with 3-speed manual and diff lock. I have one of these on the way sould be here in the next 2 weeks http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10/ just have to find a body that will fit, cant wait.
