Re: buying a new hilux
Welcome Conrad.
That sounds like a good vehicle to start with
Here are few guys on the forum that have that engine in their SFA.
I had one as well, but took it out and sold it as I couldn't cope
with 4-5,5km/l. So I installed a 2.4D.

Welcome Conrad.
do a search, there's a thread here somewhere that details what to look out for when buying a SFA. Body rust etc.
keep us posted.

I feel a lot less wise at 45 than I did at 15.

Re: buying a new hilux
Hi Guys
thanks for the replies, unfortunately I went to look at it and the car is a total disaster, its been in a front end crash, welding signs everywhere, nothing is straight, breaks are leaking, no carpets, and the list carries on... so sad to see the car like that.

Hi Conrad
Welcome, keep looking and you will find one, the SFA is becoming more and more scarce and the prices are rising , but don't give up.
Wish I still had my SFA they are truely bullet proof !
