The use of 2SO is definitely a bad idea unless you want to shorten the life of your injectors and shorten the life of your DFP.
Lab test have shown that there is no benefit to using 2SO. Neither lubricity nor Cetane No. is improved. Zinc in 2SO oil will damage your injectors - fact.
For those that insist on using a lubricant/additive in 10ppm and 50ppm diesel, use one supplied by a company in Cape Town for a fraction of the price. It can be blended 50:1 . Note that the SANS Spec 342 requires 10ppm and 50ppm diesel to have the required lubricity anyway.
