Joined yesterday after I travelled to George from Cape Town on Saturday to pick up my Hilux.
Not new, but for me it is.
Owned many Hiluxes over the years...
- Brand new 2.2 SC 4x4 in 1995 which I had for 5 years, did 250000km and sold at a profit.
- Then I had:
- 2.4 DC
- 3.0 Diesel DC, the Donkey
- KZTE DC
- KZTE DC
Then I was Hiluxless but had a 105 Series 4.5 Land Cruiser.
At the same time the wife had a 2.7 DC 4x2 (all the others before this was 4x4).
After that for a few years I had a LR 110 Puma, and then, from 2012 to 2016 had no 4x4 and no Hilux either.
On Saturday I collected another Hilux...
3.0 D4D, DC, Auto, 4x4 - it also has an ARB bumper and OME suspension.
After many years...

Welkom Kobus!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Ja, Kobus, geniet hom saam met die gesin - beste manier 'for keeping the peace' .
