Greetings all.
My wife & I have just taken delivery of our first 4x4 - a 2014 Hilux 3.0 D AT DC. Looking forward to getting out & about.
Any recommendations on 4x4 training facilities/service providers in the George/Garden Route area
Regards

Hi Chris, and welcome!

I'm not aware of any training providers in your immediate area - there may be but otherwise you can get in either PE or CT. - Might be a bit far affield, but the best training is hands on experience, finding out what works and what doesn't. Safety is of course a big factor, especially with recoveries and the use on certain types of equipment - there's a lot of info on all safety aspects here on the forum if you do a search, as well as useful tips. The best (after accredited training) would be to get some outings going with local enthusiasts and learn from each other.

That said, if you have any questions, just ask and someone will be more than happy to assist. :winkx:

(Oh, and don't be embarrassed to ask about anything that you may feel is too trivial - we all had to start somewhere and all questions will be treated with respect no matter how mundane they may seem).
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Welcome Chris,
Members from your area were looking for other members in that area, to organise get to gethers ( GTG).
Just look on the members list for these guys, who will be keen to assist you and to teach you the ropes. A braai and a few beers does wonders to get a bunch of like minded guys on the same page.
Good luck and enjoy the forum...
