Hello Everyone!
Many of you probably know me from the 4x4 Community where I have been known to be quite vociferous in the green oval forum.
They say that children do the opposite of their parents, until they are their parents.
I grew up with Hiluxes. The first one I remember was a little 1600 1970's model. Of course when it came time to buy a bakkie, I bought anything except a Hilux. Amongst others, we had a 1991 2.4D million miler.
Eventually we all grow up. So the time has come to standardise on one brand at work. Needless to say Barloworld Stellenbosch smile each time I walk through the door.
My own work bakkie is a 2016 2.8 single cab Raider - for now. It'll go down once I have things the want them and be replaced with a double cab. So far it's unadulterated, but since I almost ripped the front bumper off a week ago, I've realised that I need something made of metal.
I'm also working on a bakkie boot / roll bar / tool bar with Heinz from Metalian. Something I can attach antennas and work lights to.

Hi Eben,
Good to see you here, welcome!
Guys on this forum cannot read, you therefore have to post a few pics of your bakkie. This will make them (er... and me) very happy! :)

Welcome aboard!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
