Smart!
You might want to consider bracing that canopy internally to support the rack that's on top. A few rougher trails and you might start getting cracks in the glass fibre, especially on the upper corners at the lid.
Enjoy!

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: My new old baby
Welcome Steve, use the finishing around the door sills, which is metal enclosed in rubber, under the feet of the roof racks. Cut it a bit longer than the length of the feet of the roof rack, which will prevent your roof racks from working through the roof sills

@Andy + @Edge - thanks for that advice - I will definitely look into it.
@Edge - could you give me some more info about "the finishing around the door sills" - I just don't quite get what you mean. Is this a product that I can buy somewhere ?
