FIRST CAMPING WEEKEND IN MY NEW HILUX

Post by JAY_B »

Did my first weekend away fishing at Vaaldam in my new Hilux... What a pleasure driving those roads in a vehicle that can handle them.

Cool!

Where was that? I see only one chair - were you alone? Is the area safe?
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Yup I was alone - fiancée was away for the weekend with family and the rest of my family that I always fish with were busy.
Place is just outside Oranjeville - very safe, never had an incidents and also very popular so always a lot of people around.

Fishing also the best along the Vaal dam I have seen in ages... guy next to me caught a 6kg large mouth yellow fish.

Sometimes it is also great to relax without anyone else about and to enjoy your own company.
