Have you had a weird Friday 13th experience??

Post by swartvark »

See if you can top this one/two.

On Friday 13th September 1996 my wife went through her cars windscreen during an accident and fractured two neck vertebrae. Had to walk arround with "scaffolding" around her head for three months. :eh: :shock2:

Then on the first Friday 13th September after the accident. This was six years later in 2002. She jokingly reminded me that morning that we should be carefull because it's the anniversary of her bad experience.
At 13h00 that afternoon I was shot in the face by hi-jacker/robbers!!!! and ended up in ICU with my jaw in 8 pieces and damaged artery in the neck (luckely the one that flows away from the brain!!) :shock2:

Anyway, I see this as a LUCKY day because we both survived!!

hey Tiaan, that is quite an ordeal you and the wife went thru.
We just glad you guys OK.

Well my Friday 13th had bit of up and down this morning
I got a call in shower from the Officer at the scene of accident my wife had on 25/03/2011. He backed up our story and now it looks like I might get my money back for the excess :-)
Then we came outside and found I forgot to lock the car, and skelms stole my wife sunglasses and access card for work... WTFrikadel... what they gonna do with her access card :-(

I had a terrible Friday 13th.

Our local Pick 'n Pay Hyper is out of Cadbury's Dark Albany Chocolate, and also Ouma Marmalade Rusks. :o:

Dunno how I am going to get through the weekend without these staple foods. :silent:

Glad to see that there are more people that appreciate dark chocolate than myself! It would seem that they all moved to Klerksdorp, judging by the stock situation! :yahoo:
