Darryl - Riceburner, RIP!

I have been informed by a fellow Forum Member, that knows the family well, that Darryll was hospitalised and has been on life support.

A decision was taken to switch off the machines and sadly he has passed away.

Our condolences to the family.

Very upsetting. Daryl still had a youngster to take care of, this is very tragic and unexpected.

Dit het met my toekomstige skoon dogter se pa ook gebeur so 2 en half maande terug sy hele lighaam het ingegee oor die tumor was hartverskeurend om te sien hoe sy en my seun 'n hele naweek langs sy bed in die hospitaal geslaap het om die laaste oomblikke saam hom te wees hy het binne 2 weke na hul dit opgetel het heen gegaan baie vinnig gewees!

This is really sorry to hear. Can I suggest that when members register they also register a Next of Kin, and that existing members do the same. Things happen so fast, you never know when your line is drawn and it is so important for us to be able to contact your loved ones and fellow Hiluxers as we are one family.
