Luxter's new driver

Post by Hoppy »

My son and i piloted Luxter and won the challenge for two years back to back. I think it's time for me to step down and give him a chance. The only problem is that Challenge club left MSA a year ago and joined WOMSA, a new governing body that handles motor racing. The MSA rules stated that you had to be 14 to co-drive and 16 to drive, but the rules were changed to 17 to drive. The challenge club decided to take his experience into account and do an accesment on his driving skills, Chris Ingrim, owner of R&D offroad and the new WCCC chairman is an old hand at challenge driving, he even competed in Australia in the outback challenge (Driving a Hilux), so he buckled up and Werner took him through the obstacles at Zone 7, needless to say he was pleased with the result and impressed by his pedal control (heel and toeing etc.) that you need to master to be able to tackle serious obstacles. So this year is a new experience for me(i'm not used to co-driving), but i'm sure Werner will get it together quickly and bring some trophies home.

Daai rakke is reeds vol, hy het vir 5 jaar Karting gedoen, ek het die laaste 4 jaar ook gery, maar in n ander klas, die meeste trophies en al die 1ste plekke is syne. :shh: :slap:
By die 4x4 challenge klub is daar ook n "Co-Driver" kampioenskap, hy het dit ook al twee jaar gewen, ek dink ek gaan maar n trofee rak hier by die werk moet opsit.
