LF assistance for transporting goods from Hartenbos to Klerksdorp

Post by Family_Dog »

Hi all,

I bought some loudspeakers and their stands from a chap in the Hartenbos district. At the time, we had transport arranged by someone who was moving furniture from Hartenbos to somewhere near to me in Klerksdorp. This has unfortunately fallen through. The speakers are crated but the stands are not and I am most reluctant to involve couriers for something like this. The goods should all fit in the back of a bakkie or trailer and I will obviously assist in fuel as well if anyone would be travelling from the Hartenbos area to Klerksdorp. Grateful for any assistance.

Will get sizes & weights a bit later.

Pics are attached below. The stands look like sleeper wood (not sure if they arwe) and they are mounted on a granite slab. The speakers are bookshelf units and have been packed as shown, two speakers with one subwoofer.

Sizes are:

"Sizes as follows
One crate is 500mm x 530mm x 550mm high.
Other one is 430mm x 610mm x 500mm high.
The two stands footprint are 400mm x 400mm and they are 600mm high.
Will try weigh them when my son gets back to help."

I have am amplifier looking very sad at the moment because its intended speakers are sitting over 1000km away. Serious stuff, anybody able to help will be a true hero!
