Christiaan informed me that it has been 8 months since our last round of club wine.

This time he has a nice 2013 Stellenbosch Merlot he can offer us at slightly reduced price.
This time it will be R33.00 per bottle.

Please ist your order QTY in this thread.
Once orders close Christian will send invoices and manage the orders.
We pay Christian directly, he will pay the club a percentage after we sent out all orders.

We are still busy doing the label, so if you order now you will only be able to collect in a week or two from now.

From Christian:
Please send me a mail (winemaker@ckwines.co.za) or PM with your email address and, if you would like D2D courier, your delivery address and telephone number incase the courier needs to call contact you. Also give your name if it is not indicated on the forum please.

As soon as we have the labels, I will have the office email you all your individual invoices. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THE ADDRESS ON THE INVOICE IS NOT CORRECT. When you are happy with the details, you can them make payment and send the POP to the mail address or fax as per invoice and your wine will be sent out immediately or if you choose to collect, you may do so on the farm between Stellenbosch and Kuilsriver. WRT courier, below is the best I can find (note prices below are Ex VAT). You are welcome to organize your own too. Courier works in 6 or 12 bottle cases, so try and fill a box (sell some to a mate, spoil your mother-inlaw, whatever).
Dankie vir julle geduld manne....

Got this message from Chritiaan ...........

Hoping you enjoyed the previous batch of wine? Just thought I would toss it out there and let you know that we do still have some unlabelled 2013 Stellenbosch Merlot and some unlabelled 2014 Stellenbosch Sauvignon Blanc. Both wines have been well received and have some great reviews.

D2D courier remains at R96 for the first case and R75 for all following cases to all the major cities. Wines can be couriered to smaller towns too. You are welcome to arrange own transport or collect wines.

Got this mail from Christian .....

Hi there,

If there is enough interest, I will be bottling another batch of the 2012 Cab Franc next week, at the same price-tag. It is a small lot of stunning wine that has been in barrel for 18 months, so this will be a dedicated bottling for “friends and family”. There will be more than enough to go around for “friends-friends” too though. If you are keen, please let me know so that I have an idea of numbers.

Transport will work the same as always, packaging is 12x750ml as always. Again, this is a very lekker wine, I promise!!!

Christian Kuun

CK WINES

There has been no discussion about a special "Hilux Club" label, but I'm sure it will be possible if there's enough interest.

Let's have a "show of hands", and how many bottles! ;-)

I haven't ordered before but is tempted more and more everytime this comes around.

How does the shipment work? How do I get it to Alberton or Sasolburg? and cost wise?

I will be keen for a case... at least (don't want to sound like an alky; but if there is a Hilux label on I will have to take two (as gifts for my Landy friends :blackeye: )

Courier ... adds about R3 to the cost of a bottle IIRC. ;-)

Ok then, lets get the list started .....

Barleigh ........................ 12 bottles (case)
Grobbepj ...................... 24 bottles (2 Cases)
??? ...............

I'm not too into wines, less so reds, but I'll take a couple of bottles along with anyone else in the EL / KWT / Stutt area who is interested. Perhaps we could make up a case (or two) ...... Edge? Tony? Ben? Dylan?

Just checked back .... courier was R96.00 for the first case and R75 for any subsequent cases to the same venue .... adds about R8 to a bottle. ;-)

SWAMBO just asked me what type of wine it is??

I said it is bottled wine.

So as I don't know, can someone please just elaborate for me.

I really want to help support as well so if I have a better answer, I
can also put in an order

Just hang in there Kev ...... It seems that Christian has no Cab Franc left from the batch he originally offered. He has some from 2012 (which should be better matured), and some Merlot still from last year, but we are in discussions with him at the moment and will clarify the offer shortly. ;-)

I am so glad that each time I bought too much wine. I discovered some more bottles of the 2013 Merlot last night. The wine turned out to be an absolute amazing wine. If you still have some of the first and second batch left, do yourself a favor and open a bottle. They matured very well.
