Lebombo trail 15 June 2014

Hi everyone

We are getting the 'bucket list' stuff done before its too late

We got a booking on the Lebombo trail for 15th June 2014(2 weeks time)
We've been doing some reading and there are good and bad reports, lets hope we can come back with a good one.

Anyone else done this trip recently, doing it soon?

Then after Pafuri, its on to Mapungubwe for another 4 nights.

Slowly ticking them off.

Hope you guys had a good trip. I did this one in 2012 and I promised myself that it was my 1st and last guided tour. Our guide think he was busy doing the Dakar rally. At stages we had to reach speeds up to 90Km/hr and this towing a off road trailer and another guy one of these off road caravans. We were only 4 vehicles including the guide's, but with the dust cloud it was required to keep great distances between the vehicles resulting in a bad setup for game viewing. The only highlights of this was the brunches that we enjoyed on the river crossings and the camping.
