Hi guys,
Is there a camping list and a first aid kit list on the forum somewhere? I've tried searching but every post with the work camping comes up...
Thanks!

Hi guys.
Thanks for the link to Haboobs post. It looks great but there is allot of information to read through to get the info that I am looking for. I'm looking for just a check/ packing list of all camping items so I don't forget anything. Then I can also see if there is anything I still need to buy.
Thanks

Hi Rusti
you do not mention where your are intending to go ,one thing I learnt from my first overlanding trip was to take
clothes that dry quickly

Hi Martin.
We are going to Knysna for some light overlanding and good camping.. Last time we over packed by a mile.. It was the first time that we took the hilux out since I bought it the year before and the first time we had been camping since we were kids.. We had a ton of kitchen equipment and almost no recovery gear and o the 1st day we dI'd 10 hours of overlanding, some of ithe was quite da until for first timers like us. a year later and we are still laughing at how unprepared we were..
This year we are packing lighter but smarter.. Or at least that's the plan..
Thanks for the tip.. I'm definitely going to give Haboobs post a good read but Hennies list is great for checking what have and also what we might still need to buy.
This year we are being more strategic

Similar situation with us a few years ago LOL. Still packed minimal...too minimal, then decided a fridge is a must and things got a little out of hand from there (compared to how we used camp as kids). Now I own a trailer hehe..
