I came home to the fateful sound of hissing and steam coming out of Scruffy's nose.
It would seem that a lucky klippie managed to make it through the grill and puncture one of the radiator fins.

Does anyone in the Gauteng (West Rand/Randburg preferable) area perhaps have a spare for sale? Mine is pretty old so it is probably long overdue for a replacement as opposed to a repair job.

Thanks in advance peeps.

A 2nd hand radiator is not always a good idea because you don't often get one in good condition, especially for a +-20 yr old vehicle. You might get lucky and find one that's been been swopped out long ago for a bigger radiator with an engine conversion and been stored well.

To have the original re-cored is an option, but not cheap and a new alu radiator from Midas or AutoZone will be about the same price. :winkx:
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

For those in a similar siruation:

I found a replacement from Northriding Auto in Randburg. +- R1100 including.
Silverton etc were talking upwards of R1800 to re-core and R2k + for a new unit.
Autozone Midas etc were all around R1600/R1700.
