We have discovered an issue with some (NOT all) of the UHF Magnetic Antennas whereby the magnets have very little magnetism. I have been consulting with our suppliers and it appears that their entire batch has been affected.

To this end, we have been sourcing a stronger magnet and our stocks should be arriving within the next day or two. It would appear that this would be affecting only recent stocks but we would like it if all of our customers who received UHF magnetic antennas from us recently will check that their magnet bases are strong enough to prevent the antenna coming loose while travelling.

If you are affected, then please return the complete magnetic antenna with whip and cable to Repcom for replacement on a one for one basis.

The affected antennas are only of the type as in the photo below.

To those of you who are affected, please accept our sincere apologies, we were not aware of this defect and it was only by chance that we discovered it ourselves this week. We have not had any reports of the antennas working loose but we would rather kill the problem at the outset.
