In 2008 everyone had their cars ready and paid for everything only to find out the Dakar was cancelled.

Well, if you take the fact that a upright without the brake disc and calipers on the Production racing BMW's cost around R110000 each this is not that big a amount! What sort of experience and practice does the lucky crew get before the race proper? Are these buggies a sort of new one-make class?

Thats true if been with the BMW X-Raid team for 4years and seen how much it cost and how the guys that really wanna go do it but dont have enough money. I have done the Dakar 4 times up to now and competed in two my first was with an Racing T4 Truck and next was with X5 BMW our budget for last Argentinian Dakar was more that 100 miljion and it was for 4 cars only as the BMW team.

The customers that wanna do this with our team need some Off-Road exprience and therefore have to do an National Off-Road event in South Africa.
The class witch you will compete in is T1 Ultra light the same as the Mc Rea buggies there pacage is about 1.8miljion for one driver, and it is an single seater,

The Buggies is made in South Africa
