I found this lind about how vehicles from the UK and other countries also end up being stolen and shippend here and redistributed to our lazy counterparts of countries. the Dark Africa filled with war, druglords and corruption.

Its sad but true. Anything with a Toyota Badge will get stolen eventually as these bastards are to lazy to work a honest living, yet the luxury SUV market seems to be also a very big demand for these people.

Article ends with
'Well, unless you solve the problem of world poverty.
Me thinks it should be:
"Well, unless you solve the problem of world GREED"

These things get stolen due to greed not poverty.
Food gets stolen due to poverty.

Why can't they install destruction devices in the vehicle. If your vehicle has been stolen let you have the choice to press a button and seize the engine, making it unusable to the guy who stole it.

in a world of satelite communications it is easy enough to "self destruct" a stolen product .....

wonder if it is legal to "self destruct" it while the thief is in it - and the end buyer IS also the thief .... just wondering ...
