Suggestion: Quick Reply

Hi admin/mods

I have found the newish feature quick reply quite useful... but find it somewhat useless without the smilies... I often type up a reply in the quick reply box and then go to the full editor to add a smilies or 2 to contextualise my reply... :problem:

Suggestion... is it possible to add the smilies on the left of the quick reply box... 8 ) I'm sure it can be done...

I have the same problem with the quick reply but unfortunately it is something uncle Pieter needs to modify. In the mean time I've learned the codes of the smilies to add them to the quick reply

Remember to put a space before and after the colons.

Otherwise you will get this

I don't have time right now to do it.
If you want to I can give you ftp access and you can do it

I am not sure if those plugins will work on our template, but you are welcome to try it out.

Anyway, if you add smilies and bbcode to the quick reply, is it still a quick reply?
