Het iemand al n 2 rigting radio in sy 2016 revo laat installeer?
Het iemand al n vhf eenheid en n midband eenheid in 1 bakkie gedoen?

Yep, ons het gister 'n VHF radio geinstalleer. Enigste plek is op links voor van die 'transmission tunnel'.

Of een wat 'remote-mount' is, onder die sitplek, soos die Hytera MD655 - alles wat jy nodig het is in die mikrofoon. Min of meer die enigste oplossing vir twee radios, daar is nie een radio wat altwee modes kan doen nie.

Hi Eric,

What about underneath the traction control buttons, in the that space where one normally throw stuff that rattles. I am also busy fitting mine and there is ample space for the ICOM F5023.

Where did you mount the antenna on the Toyota Hilux Revo?

Cobus, the antenna was mounted on the roof. It is a company vehicle and used on a game farm, so they had no problems with that.

Ek het die midband radio met n boot mount kit laat insit. Radio is onder die sitplek en die gesiggie is in daai bakkie net bou die rathefboom. Die vhf kenwood het ek n bracket gemaak en hy is nou sonder om n gat te boor regs onder die paneelkissie. Ek het maar gate geboor vir die arials wat dan het jy die minste moeilikheid op grondpaaie met die beste ontvangs.

Frederick, watter soort MB radio? Ons het 'n Kirisun PT8100 "remote kit" getoets maar het besluit om dit nie te gebruik nie - die kit is nie deur Kirisun gebou nie maar 'n plaaslike aftermarket kit. Nie eintlik goed vir DIY verbruik nie tensy mens weet wat doen hulle!

Ek neem aan jy verwys nou na my vhf radio se arial
So watter arial is beter as die wat ek ophet en hoe beinvloed dit dan die ander 30 kanale op my radio?

Ek is geen fundi op die gebied nie.
Ek gebruik nie my radio's primer vir Orra kanale nie maar wel vir my repeater en simplex kanale asook plaasveiligheid kanale. So ver ek weet is my antenna volgens daai kanale geknip. Tot op hede het ek nie probleme met opvangs nie en ek kan ek al die gebabbel van die JHB Land Rover bendes hoor as hulle op die hoofweg verby rook oppad huistoe.
