Re: OZ Tent
I have used one. Very quick to pitch but a b!tch to put away. George is right. They are about 1.8m which make it difficult to transport with a DC

Re: OZ Tent
Hi George - I have a roof carrier and it fits nicely on it [see my avatar for roof carrier pic] It is light enough for me to lift it up - and take it down - on my own. I have carried it in the Terrano as well - just put one 1/2 of the backrest down. It also fits into my offroad trailer.
The pleasure is when you get to pitch it - Dwergie is really tiny, and she pitches it all by herself [even before I finished my beer ] - I also cannot fault letting it down either. It's as easy as pitching it.
The wheather protection is excellent - we averaged -3 through Botswana in July 2007, and it was lekker cosy inside.
As is, I have one for sale [it is posted in the 'For Sale' section] It's a RV 5 (the biggest one) it was used only once and is in a better tha new condition. Asking R4 800.oo for it - let me know if you are interested at weskus_klong@hotmail.com.

Re: OZ Tent
No obligations George-man. We are not really hard up to sell the tent. We have 5, and it is still brand new, so would be the better one to sell [dont wanna sell a lemon] I know my other tents and I'm happy with them ... but truely, nothing beats that very quick erection the Oz tent offers. And of course, the short time it takes to get it in the bag, literally just roll it in. Very convenient. I reckon it will be awesome with the veranda extension for size & space.

Re: OZ Tent
Ek hou niks van die Niagra een nie... dis Amerikaans, totally overrated, NO whether protection, lot of hyp & hot air and can only accommodate 1... and a waterfall???
Naah - The Oz is better, once its up, you can stay was long as you want and get up and go whenever you want. AND there is space for 5 if you cram it a bit. Just right for two withg lots og equipment [ewaldttttt ! gaan weg,dis tente wat ons van praat !! ]
