Technitop RTT

Post by Traveler »

In preparation for upcoming trips fitted my RTT again. And although showing signs of use, and not being brand new I still enjoy it and think the Technitop clamshell type Tent was very good.

Agree, the concept is very nice
Clamshell serves good protection and is pretty dust and waterproof.
Easy open and close operation
Little (or less) wind resistance

Concern: only 1.2 x 2.4 can be a little cramped
Side protection is minimal and water seeps in easily, but that's due to the design of the fly sheet.

And then my usual gripe with all RTT's...the mattress....why do the supplier's not sell a decent HDF mattress ???
