minus40 advice....

Post by dustbuster »

There is a Minus40 150lt fridge/freezer for sale at my work for R9000, just want to find out more about the minus40 is it a reliable brand? I have not heard much about it they are made locally.

And is this a good price as it would be nice for my hunting and fishing. But was thinking of getting an Engle but like the size of this one can put a whole filet of fish in.

Minus40 have been producing fridges for a very long time, think since the mid 70's. Not bad but R9k for a 150l is quite steep, me thinks?

You could also look at x2 90L and could possibly be a bit more flexable

All i can say is, i have a minus40, and they are very good an reliable, New Price for a 40L is about R11K.
Recently had it tested and is as effective as a brand new unit, and mine is 12years old
So R9K for a 150L is really not bad

Mark, for Dean's purpose 2x 80's won't do, he wants the extra width and length...

Remember Dean only catches big ones!
