Can anybody shed some light. I've Googled front runner roof rack accessories but can't find this goodie. Anyone know what this is used for?

Looks like an axe bracket.

According to me it is a shovel bracket.

Spade bracket

The sqr part you put the handle in and the round part goes around the "shaft" or whatever you call the pipe thingy part of the handle.

Or shovel, depends one where you learned to speak da language. Me got me dialect from the Free State

Yip, just dawned on me, axe bracket has a box where the blade fits in

You'll need to flip the handle bracket around for it to be effective though!

Frankly, if it is mounted against the back of the cab like that pic seems to show then you'll need to take the cab off in order to make space for the shovel head....

Methinks that was intended for something other than a spade.

Hey Mickey. It's not mounted to the vehicle. It's just leaning against my Landy.... just to push up the value of the Landy a bit
