Eishkas lift

Post by Uys »

I am building a drop fridge slide to fit on top of your drawer system for easier access to your fridge. A member of LCCSA just complete the test for me, and apart for two small issues, which I have subsequently sorted, I am now ready to accept orders for this. TO quote the LCCSA test member:

Drop slide worked very well on a Pilansberg weekend.
SWAMBO now able to get own drinks (and for me!) without standing on a box. Pleasure to use it and all who saw it in action wanted to give it a try.
Did not try it on a really steep slope which may be a problem but otherwise was very easy to use. No rattles or moving around.
THe locking mechanism worked OK but needs refinement (believe Uys has v2 in his head) and the slide is a bit bulkier than the norm so you lose a bit of space. Certainly worth it IMO.
THe prototype is too narrow for my NL 40 which is side opening, so used thee Engel 40 which is an end opener. I would like to try with my NL but do not foresee any hassles.
I will be placing my order!
