Goeie middag
Ek het so pas aangesluit by die forum na ek maande lank jul site besoek en onderwerpe lees. Eerstens wil ek net dankie se vir die raad wat ek raak gelees het toe ek die timing belt moes vervang. Hoop iemand kan help met die volgende probleem. Ek was op verlof gewees en op n dag na ons rond gery het, het ek die voertuig afgeskakel en het die alarm aangeskakel. Dit het 100% gewerk. Toe ek weer die alarm wou afskakel, het hy gladnie gewerk nie. Ek het die deure met die sleutel oopgesluit en die bakkie aangeskakel, sonder enige probleme. Waar kan n mens begin soek vir die fout?

Hi Hendrik, Welcome...
I would first check if your remotes batteries are ok, if you have already done that, it's most likely the central locking module. I think it's in the dashboard, just underneath the radio. I bought one for one of my previous hiluxes and what i can recall it wasn't too expensive. I gather you have already checked the fuse?

Jip, I have checked the remote batteries, all ok. Aas well as all the fuses. How do I checkk the Central Locking module to see if it is the culprit. This module, if it does not work, will it influence the alarm system to. Sorry for the english, I am a boertjie and I struggle with the tenses since school.

Myne het dieselfde gedoen so ruk terug. Maak die fues box regs onder jou stuurwiel oop. Daar is 'n plek waar jy die remote kan inprop. Ek het myne daar ingedruk en toe werk alles weer.
