Fuel economy

Post by DADDYMAN »

Hi all,

Wondering, I had the 30d4d man 2008 double cab got average 10 to 11 km /l, I traded the vehicle on 2012 30d4d auto and now getting 8 to 9 km/l which equates to about 100km less on a tank i know auto is heavier but 100km on a tank?

Anybody have same issue?
Imagine you wake up tomorrow and all you have left is what you thanked God for the night before.

Hi Daddyman, perhaps the 2008 had a chip and some exhaust performance changes? I'm guessing they are obviously both double cabs with/without canopies, and identical wheel diameters as this could also affect fuel consumption. M2cw

Auto will be heavier, me thinks 8-9km/l is good for an auto.
