In hierdie geval moet hy net die 4.1:1 as gaan soek.

Werner, if the front and rear diff ratios differ on a 4x4 vehicle, damage will result if 4x4 is engaged .... especially on a surface that doesn't allow easy slipping.

I agree due to diff windup on a 4x4. But on a 4x2 do the front wheels just run on the wheel bearings or is it connected to the front diff with side shafts, remember no lockable hubs, hence the spider gears inside the diff will make up the difference? Or isn't there even a CW&P in a 4x2? And if it only runs wheel bearings, why even have a diff?

OK Werner, now you're getting to what Jakes was trying to tell you. A 4x2 does not have a front diff, no x-fer case, no front prop, no sideshafts in front ,,,, nada, just stub-axles. :D:

Daai is rim size. ;-)

Aah OK, no diff. That makes sense... I've never bothered looking at a Hilux 4x2's front diff.

Hallo Gareth,

Goeie 14 duim bande kos so rondon R700 elk??
