What works best for cleaning tyres?

After the mud is cleaned off and it's time to have a clean Hilux for a few days, what makes the tyres shine the best? I have some stuff that you apply with a paintbrush that creates a buildup, so after a few coats it starts to look bad.There is some spray on stuff out there, but which works best?

You might laugh but I found that Nugget Black shoe polish. I aplly it, let it dry a bit and then you a pair of old stockings to shine it :)

Averytime you do it, it will be shinier than the previous. The best part, no build up or spray of some sort on the vehicle. Works for me

I will give that a miss... do you guys have any idea how big a 33" tyre is?? It will take me 1 Saturday per tyre..

My kop raas so nou en dan. Was die bakkie / kar. Droog hom af. Jack hom op en haal wiel vir wiel af en was die binne en buite kant van die rim / mags en droog hom af en polish hom dan. Vat my so tussen 3 en 4 ure om klaar te maak. Lekker futup!

Nee wragtig - my bakkie bly soos hy is - sonder make-up.

Ek was hom nooit, stofsuig nooit (trouens daar is steeds van desember se seesand in die Cab) en allover vol stof, roes, modder, sand, blare, takke ens ens.

My vrou sleep hom so dan en wan vir `n valet, maar die afgelope 6 maande was daar niks. Ek kry gereeld bierblikkies en sigaretboksies onder die sitplekke en dis meestal my passasiers sin! Die Audi bly mooi skoon, maar ek betaal iemand vir dit. So eedag as julle `n vuilwit SFA sien, dis myne!

Dis eintlik die regte manier om dit te doen en ek bewonder mense wat tot sulke lengtes gaan, maar ongelukkig is ek nie een van daai's nie.. Die geduld ontbreek bra... Ek betaal eerder iemand om dit te doen, ek voel net R150 is nie te veel om te betaal vir 3 ure van my lewe nie...

PS Plus ek kannie meer so lekker buk nie... ou oorlogletsels..

Ek gebruik net decreaser fluid en spuit dit ooral waar dit vuil is en spuit dan die bakkie af met water. Dit werk lekker op die bande ook. Ek haat blink goed op die bande want dit lok stof

Ek voel bietjie anders as Docter V.....My bakkie mag maar baie vuil word binne/buite maar ek maak hom skoon na elke trip. :)

Let wel... daai tipe wasse kom so dan en wan.... probably so 2 keer 'n jaar :)

Gewoonlik gaan hy na GT Carwash terwyl ek lekker sit en ontbyt eet :)

My bakkie moet ook skoon na elke trip. Spuit hom gewoonlik af met highpressure washer na die trip en vat hom met die eerste geleentheid wat ek kry na die carwash toe :)

My bakkie gaan na amper elke trip workshop toe want daar word ge-tweak en ge-tune, daar is altyd iets wat gedoen moet word... en dan word hy sommer daar gewas :!:

Die platkar gaan elke 2 weke carwash toe, behalwe as hy baie vuil wys... damn swart karre!!

Best stuff to make them shine is a liquid you buy at Tiger wheel. It's R35 for a bottle & you simply spray it on & spread it with a sponge (which they give you). They have the carwash shine & take 5 min to apply on all 4 tyres...

Trust me, it's the bomb!

We got a Josef at work and he wash cars the hole day.so mine is always clean.I change my cars every second day,so both stays clean.

Beige of Ivory soos myne se kleur bekend staan werk maar die beste. Ek is saam met jou op daardie een. Hy wys baie min vuil.

EK kan nie in voertuig ry as ek moet bestuur en orals rol goed rond en papier e nie. Hy moet skoon wees binne, al is hy buite baie vuil.

As ek op toer gaan dan maak ek elke dag waar ek stop die binnekant netjies. gooi alle bietjies en papiere en rommel uit.

Lig blou wys ook nie te gou vuil op `n kar nie, maar dit werk nie op `n bakkie wat in die san en stof werk nie.

Thys, jy moet bietjie kaspaas bietjie kleur gee met so lekker Sprite Zero streep om die wit wat so boring vir jou is op te helder...
