Mine did the same, never bothered about it and sold it like that. Was a 2007 model.

Op ons Isuzu D/C is daar 'n sensor onder die seats wat die loom se plug maak dat die lig aangaan.

Mine has done the same BUT i figured how it happens, doesnt bother me either.
Happened when I was towing a trailer, Stopped at my mates house and turned on the hazards, and it came on, after deattaching the trailer and restarting the bakkie it went off.
must be some faulty wiring in the harness.

Die plaaslike Agent het my vertel dit is stof wat in die stuurwiel bedrading/konneksies in kom, en vervanging is al oplossing, maar die airbag sal nog werk.

Ek het 2 Hiluxe en nie een van hulle se liggie het al ooit aan gekom nie. Dis die eerste keer dat ek hoor van die probleem, dalk is ek nog net gelukkig sover.

Het ook nog nooit van die probleem gehoor of self ondervind nie

Same here ,i have the same problem ,went on about 2 months ago ,was told the same at Toyota ,leaving it until i have cash to fix.

Yip, pretty common issue.
I replaced mine on 95,000km @ R1400-00 and both my BIL's had theirs replaced at about the same milage on their Hilux's.
