Aircon pipes failty, replaced by Toyota 4 months ago?

Post by Marty »

Well about 4 months ago I had to replace my aircon pipes because the one failed.
Beginning of the month the new pipe looks like it just "popped out" from it's mounting.

I took the bakkie in to Toyota this morning with an appointment I made 2 weeks ago after speaking to the workshop foreman.
This morning I was told they need to replace the pipe. I looked at the guys and smiled and said @ Toyota's cost.

I don't think he appreciated my comment.

What do you guys think? I mean 4 months after a new “Toyota original parts” was installed by “Toyota”
One Africa, One Hilux needed :)

Yeah, I would also expect them to cover the replacement cost. I would do it for my customers! ;-)
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

Don't all their workmanship and parts carry a 1 year guarantee?
To God be the glory
