Why a body lift?
Is there any other reason other than making room for bigger tyres for doing a body lift

Re: Why a body lift?
Makes it more difficult to climb in when you are an old man.
Makes it more difficult for your dog to jump in.
The higher you go, the more unstable the vehicle becomes, centre of gravity.
Does make it more easy to work on a vehicle.
with a body lift, you can tuck the transfer case higher up and then manufacture your own straight cross member, more ground clearance.
