Has anyone done / heard of the gas conversion thingy on their hilux?

Cool.. so you only need to do about 50 000 km's to recoup your expenses for the conversion... 
The Aussies run everything on LPG, from taxis to busses... so we can get details about LPG conversions from our members down-unda...

My Brother-in-Law is with Adceng Gas.. They did the conversions to the fleet of Chubb and a various government vehicles. The big thing is where do you purchase gas????
I know of two depots in Gauteng besides the Chubb containers (that was over a year ago, not sure if they still have it).
I investigated the conversion on my 2.7 TD, but aborted for two reasons, one was the availability, and the second was at the time (2 years ago), the only legal way to inject into a diesel was blowing engines as the progressive throttle for the LPG was illegal according to the legislation. You could only have a on/off trigger electronically activated from behind the accelerator. :?
Petrol cars are easy as they do not derive lubrication from there fuel source.

I know two near where live in Goodwood
One in voortrekker rd and one in Epping.
According to the oke at autogas, they don't do diesel conversions
Also, if you sold the vehicle, you could recoever the cost of the conversion, no?
