Steering damper
What would be the best shock to use as the steering damper on my SFA? Will any make do and what should I look for?

Gabriel imports there dampers from the USA, can't beat it for the price/quality

Hi Cassie, I have a TJM on mine, its had plenty of bangs and dings in it and still working fine, been on over 3 years.....

Ek het vir my n Monroe steering damper by Auto Zone gekoop.Was destyds goedkoper as Gabriel en ek is steeds baie happy met myne

Die steering damper van my bakkie (`81 model) het olie begin lek. Ek toe ook `n gabriel ingesit part no 721051 op die dop gedruk. Kom met die stut deel wat aan die draglink vas kom.

Ons het een van ARB opgesit. Prys was nogal nie te ver uit nie.
Plus jy kry een van daai wi#$&gat plakkers by.
En hy maak 'n groot verskil.

Myne na 23 jaar vervang met Gabriel.

Ek dink ek het myne laaste keer vervang met Gabriel maar wat my irriteer is die damping is nog fine maar daai housing wat heen en weer skyf oor di ander gedeelte kom los, dan begin hy fieslik rattle en ek en 'n rattle is gladnie maatjies nie.
Ek het al gedink off road kan mens van hom ontslae raak want ek meen daar ry mens nie so vinnig nie maar toe kyk ek na die setup en dit lyk nie op my setup of die dampers sy limits bereik nie.
Dankie vir almal se terugvoer. Sal maar bietjie rondshop :)
