Hi all, I need some info please.
I have the local diff at the back of my SFA, that should be the 27 spline side shafts.
Does that mean that the front diff is also 27 spline or is the front diff 30 spline (import)?
Thanks.

Your front diff should be the one with the thicker side shafts.

Thanks, I need to know for sure so I can order the Chromoly side shafts and knuckles from the US.
The chromoly sideshafts are 30 splines.
I now need to buy an import axle for the rear to order 30 splines for them as well.
I will also need to get 4.11 diff ratios after the rear import is installed.
Don't know where to get the axle from yet.
Please confirm Hiluxers.

Try Hassen's at Middelburg. They had something like 10 import diffs a while back.

Your front diff has 30 splines like all import front and rears, even the new Vigo has 30 splines.
Why do you want to go to 4,11, 4.55 is the lowest i would go with a Lexus, even with the auto box
They work better at a bit higher rpm, even the consumption is worse when you drop the revs to much, it's not a Chevy.

I did the math, if I go to 4.11 the rpm on 120km/h should be around 2692rpm.Hoppy wrote:Your front diff has 30 splines like all import front and rears, even the new Vigo has 30 splines.

Is that too low?
