Hilux 2700 wont start

Help please. I have a hilux 2700 and it wont start. Does not give power to the electronic distributor and does not give power for the petrol pump. What can i look for please.

Check the EFI fuse in the fusebox in the engine compartment.

Check the fuel pump relay too.

It can also be the pump.

I have never seen a 2.7 with an "electronic distributor" :wink2:
If your truck is fitted with aftermarket immobilizer or anti-hijack, that is the first place to look. They need to be by passed to test them. Even if the units are switched off they still have relays inside that can stop making contact.

Baie dankie. Ek gaan maar liewers in afr antwoord. Ek en engels het lank terug al stry opgetel en ek het sleg verloor. Ek het die probleem gekry. Die EFI relay het op een van sy punte net nie kontak gemaak nie. Simpel vout maar baie dankie vir die raad.
